Warlord of Draenor

Construct the Gladiator's Sanctum in your garrison and upgrade it to level 2. At level 2, you unlock the ability to burn effigies, which starts the Nemesis quest chain for each enemy race.

Burn an effigy at the Gladiator's Sanctum to receive a quest to kill and take the heart of that race, then hand it in to unlock the follow-up quest requiring 500 kills of that race. You can only pursue one Nemesis quest chain at a time.

Head to Ashran, the PvP island hub in Draenor, where enemy players of all races are frequently engaged in combat. You do not need the killing blow to earn racial kill credits toward the 500-kill quest, but you do need the killing blow to collect bones.

Form a group with up to 5 players who all have the same active Nemesis quest — each kill counts as a kill for every group member with the quest active, effectively multiplying your progress by the number of qualifying group members.

To avoid accidentally targeting pets or Ashran NPCs, use the following macro to target the nearest enemy player and identify their race in chat: /targetenemyplayer then /run race = UnitRace("target"); followed by /run print('Target is '.. race ..'.').

Progress on Nemesis quests is tracked per faction, not per account, so completing Nemesis: Orcslayer on an Alliance character does not grant Nemesis: Manslayer on a Horde character. However, you can split the required Nemesis quests across multiple characters of the same faction — completing some on one character and the rest on another still counts toward the meta-achievement.

Complete the Fight, Kill, Salute! quest at the Highmaul Coliseum in Draenor. This quest is required alongside all Nemesis quests to earn the Warlord of Draenor achievement.
