In Plain Sight
Find the Iron Horde Attack Plans in The Pit.
In Plain Sight is a 10-point exploration achievement earned by finding the Iron Horde Attack Plans hidden in The Pit, which spawns atop one of several elevated structures.
Check First Crane Spawn
Head to the top of the crane at 45.8, 27.2 in The Pit. You can reach this elevation by using the iron cannons to launch yourself up, though aim carefully to avoid landing in enemy groups.
Check Middle Tower Spawn
If the Attack Plans are not at the crane, check atop the tower in the middle of The Pit at 48.2, 27. The iron cannons can again be used to reach this height.
Check Second Crane Spawn
If still not found, check the second crane location at 49, 24 in The Pit, also reachable by cannon launch.
Check Broken Track Spawn
The Attack Plans can also spawn atop a section of broken track at 45.2, 25.2. This spot is reachable without flight by clearing nearby enemies and making a running mount jump from the broken track edge just to the west at 45.3, 25.2, which sits slightly higher.
Avoid the Fake Book
Be aware that a visually similar missive item can appear at these locations — this is not the Iron Horde Attack Plans and does not grant the achievement. The correct Attack Plans are visible to all players regardless of whether you are on a daily quest.
Tips
Use Eagle Eye or a similar scouting ability to check spawn locations from a distance before committing to the climb.
