Defeat all the rare creatures in Shattrath City listed below.
Heralds of the Legion is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating all seven rare creatures located in Shattrath City, found throughout Talador.
Install NPCScan Tracking
Add all seven rares to NPCScan using these commands: /npcscan add 87668 Orumo the Observer, /npcscan add 82942 Lady Demlash, /npcscan add 82988 Kurlosh Doomfang, /npcscan add 88436 Vigilant Paarthos, /npcscan add 82920 Lord Korinak, /npcscan add 82930 Shadowflame Terrorwalker, /npcscan add 82998 Matron of Sin. You can add them all at once with the Paste addon.
Defeat Lady Demlash
Find and defeat Lady Demlash at 33.6, 38.2 in Talador.
Defeat Kurlosh Doomfang
Find and defeat Kurlosh Doomfang at 37.4, 37.4 in Talador.
Defeat Vigilant Paarthos
Vigilant Paarthos patrols multiple locations in Talador — check at 38, 44, then 37.8, 40.6, then 36.2, 40.6, and finally 37.4, 42.6 until you find him.
Defeat Lord Korinak
Find and defeat Lord Korinak at 31, 26.8 in Talador.
Defeat Shadowflame Terrorwalker
Find and defeat Shadowflame Terrorwalker at 41, 42 in Talador.
Defeat Matron of Sin
Find and defeat Matron of Sin at 38.8, 49.8 in Talador.
Solo Orumo the Observer
Orumo the Observer is located at 31.4, 47.6 in Talador and requires five rune activations to unlock. Stand on one of the unlit runes in front of him and use a hearthstone or teleport ability that takes you completely out of Talador — flying to a location such as Wolvar in Nagrand works well since it is outside Talador. Fly back into Talador and return to an unlit rune, then repeat this process a total of five times. On the fifth activation, the rune will light with a large fire-like structure and Orumo will unlock for you to defeat solo. This process takes approximately 15 minutes with Draenor flying unlocked.
Tips
Use the custom group finder to realm jump, allowing you to find active shards where rares may already be up or to complete the achievement faster.
