Complete the Blasted Lands invasion quests before the Assault on the Dark Portal begins.
The Iron Invasion is a Feat of Strength tied to completing the Blasted Lands pre-expansion invasion quests before the Assault on the Dark Portal, and it can no longer be obtained.
Note Unobtainable Status
This achievement and its associated title, of the Iron Vanguard, can no longer be obtained. It was tied to the Blasted Lands pre-expansion world event quest line that preceded the Assault on the Dark Portal.
Visit Zidormi If Needed
If you are level 90 and phased into the invaded Blasted Lands and wish to return to the original phase, speak to Zidormi at 48.2, 7.2 in the Blasted Lands. This allows access to the old zone, including low-level quests and the original green Dark Portal leading to Hellfire Peninsula.
