You're Doing it Wrong
Successfully complete any of the Basic (Silver) trials at the Proving Grounds, while in a specialization not suited for it.
You're Doing it Wrong requires completing any Basic (Silver) trial at the Proving Grounds while playing in a specialization not suited for that trial type.
Choose a Mismatched Specialization
Select a spec that does not match the trial type: tanks should attempt a DPS trial, healers and warlocks should attempt a tank trial, and hybrid DPS specs can attempt a healing trial.
Complete Silver Trial
Enter the Proving Grounds and finish the Basic (Silver) version of the mismatched trial; as a Discipline Priest doing the tank trial at around item level 603, use Mindbender and Solace on cooldown to avoid running out of mana while keeping the NPC alive.
Tips
Protection Warriors must avoid using Gladiator's Resolve talent, as it causes the achievement to not credit; Anger Management works fine.
Completing the Gold version of a mismatched trial awards the hidden Feat of Strength 'You're Really Doing It Wrong' — the easiest method is doing the DPS challenge as a tank. See the video guide for a walkthrough.
