Hydraxian Waterlords
Earn Exalted status with the Hydraxian Waterlords.
Hydraxian Waterlords is the reputation faction tied to the 40-man Azerothian raid Molten Core, and reaching Exalted requires progressing through multiple reputation thresholds across elemental grinding and repeated Molten Core clears.
Grind to Max Friendly
Kill Desert Rumbler and Dust Stormer elementals in the north-west of Silithus for 5 rep each (11 for two with the +10% guild reputation perk), running a loop around their spawn locations until you reach 5999/6000 Friendly — roughly 1,637 kills with the guild bonus. Huricanian also spawns in this area and awards 25 rep at base value.
Clear Molten Core Trash
From Friendly through the end of Honored, Molten Core trash mobs award 15–40 rep each, so enter Molten Core and clear as much trash as possible each lockout to push through Honored.
Farm Molten Core Bosses
From Honored into Revered and beyond, only bosses award reputation: most bosses give 100 rep, Golemagg gives 150, and Ragnaros gives 200, totaling roughly 1,050 rep per full clear. Moving from Revered to Exalted requires approximately 19 full runs worth of boss kills.
Convert to Raid Group at 20999
At exactly 20999/21000 reputation you must be in a Raid Group to earn the final point and break through to Exalted — enter Molten Core in a Raid Group rather than as a solo player to avoid being stuck at that threshold.
Tips
A full Molten Core boss clear awards approximately 1, 050 reputation after Revered, making each weekly lockout meaningful for the final push to Exalted.
The guild perk Mr. Popularity (guild level 12) provides a +10% reputation bonus, reducing the Silithus elemental grind from roughly 1,800 kills to approximately 1, 637 kills to cap Friendly.
