Bait Darkwing Matron into ambushing a Darktide Rylakinator-3000 in Darktide Roost.
I Was Framed! is a 10-point achievement earned in Darktide Roost by tricking a hostile Darktide Rylakinator-3000 into using its Flamethrower on a Darkwing Whelpling, provoking a nearby Darkwing Matron to attack the robot.
Dismiss Pets and Followers
Before starting, dismiss any active companions, pets, or followers — including warlock pets and hunter pets. Any companion that automatically deals damage to nearby enemies can prevent the achievement from triggering.
Dismount Before Proceeding
Dismount completely before attempting this achievement, as being mounted has been reported to cause problems with the achievement triggering.
Locate the Darktide Rylakinator-3000
Head to the Darktide Rylakinator-3000 at 63.62, 86.88 in Shadowmoon Valley. An ideal spot is just in front of the cave where you will find the robot near a Darkwing Whelpling and a Darkwing Matron. Do NOT mount or drive the Rylakinator-3000 — you need to agro it as a hostile enemy.
Agro the Rylakinator-3000
Body-pull the hostile Darktide Rylakinator-3000 at 63.62, 86.88 and let it begin casting Flamethrower on you. Do not attack it back under any circumstances.
Kite It to a Healthy Whelpling
Kite the Rylakinator-3000 approximately 10 meters toward a full-health Darkwing Whelpling — not one of the injured Darkwing Whelps. Position the robot so that its Flamethrower hits the whelpling. Do not attack the whelpling or the robot at any point.
Wait for the Matron
Once the Flamethrower damages the Darkwing Whelpling, it will cry out for help and a nearby Darkwing Matron will descend and begin attacking the Darktide Rylakinator-3000. The achievement is granted the moment the Matron attacks the robot.
Tips
The spot at 63.62, 86.88 in Shadowmoon Valley places you directly between a Darktide Rylakinator-3000, a full-health Darkwing Whelpling, and a Darkwing Matron, minimizing the kite distance needed.
Only use a full-health Darkwing Whelpling — the injured variants do not trigger the Matron's response correctly.
