A-VOID-ance
Defeat Kenos without using Void Implosion to slay any Coalesced Void Fragments in the Shadowmoon Enclave.
A-VOID-ance is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Kenos without letting Void Implosion kill any Coalesced Void Fragments in the Shadowmoon Enclave.
Enter the Void Realm
Travel to the Shadowmoon Enclave in Spires of Arak and enter one of the void portals. The closest portal to the rare is at 72.27, 23.62.
Summon Kenos the Unraveler
Head to the large altar at 70.6, 24.2, staying inside the inner bubble area to avoid losing your void realm connection and to prevent accidentally aggroing patrolling Void Terrors and Voidwalkers. This encounter requires three players to each click one of the three stones surrounding the altar to summon Kenos the Unraveler. Up to five players can participate in the fight.
Avoid Killing Adds With Void Implosion
During the fight, one random player will receive a debuff marked by a purple ring. That player must immediately move away from the three Coalesced Void Fragments and stay near the far wall — if the purple ring touches any of the adds, they die and the achievement is failed. The three adds periodically shield Kenos, but they can be killed using only normal attacks to remove the shield. Repeat this process until Kenos is defeated.
Tips
If you are struggling to find two other players, ask in general chat for both Shadowmoon Valley and Spires of Arak zones, or use the Premade Groups finder.
At max level in Legion or later, Kenos has very low health and the fight ends quickly — the main challenge is assembling three players, not the fight mechanics itself.
