Upgrading the Mill
Place 75 Work Orders at the Lumber Mill and complete the quests listed below.
Upgrading the Mill is a 5-point achievement that rewards the 
Lumber Mill, Level 3 Blueprint by completing 75 Work Orders at your Lumber Mill and finishing the quests Legacy of the Ancients and Reduction in Force.
Place 75 Work Orders
Visit your Lumber Mill and place 75 Work Orders to satisfy the first requirement of the achievement.
Complete Legacy of the Ancients
Find a Petrified Ancient with peon corpses around it and attempt to cut it down. A lumberjack will warn you before being killed by the tree; defeat the tree to loot the 
Barkskin Tome. This quest then requires you to kill 4 ancients, each in a different zone — ancients only spawn while you are harvesting medium-sized Timber, not Small Timber.
Get Reduction in Force Quest
Speak with Weldon Barov (Alliance) or Alexi Barov (Horde), who is located inside your Lumber Mill, to pick up the Reduction in Force quest. Complete this quest to fulfill the final requirement for Upgrading the Mill.
Purchase Level 3 Blueprint
Once the achievement is complete, visit the vendor on the right side of the Town Hall, who sells the Lumber Mill, Level 3 blueprint unlocked by completing Upgrading the Mill.
Tips
When farming Large Timber, an NPC with roughly 400,000 health will attack and hit for 10, 000–25,000 per swing. Defeating this NPC three times converts him into an epic level 100 follower with Herbalism and the Evergreen trait, allowing him to work in your Herb Garden or Lumber Mill.
Weldon Barov (Alliance) or Alexi Barov (Horde) also sells the
Spring-loaded Spike Trap from inside the Lumber Mill.
