To The Afterlife
Defeat a contender while wearing a contender's outfit purchased during Day of the Dead.
To The Afterlife is a Day of the Dead achievement earned by defeating another player while both of you are wearing a Contender's Costume purchased during the holiday.
Purchase a Contender's Costume
Buy one of the five Contender's Costumes from Chapman for 100g each: 
"Blooming Rose" Contender's Costume, 
"Purple Phantom" Contender's Costume, 
"Snowy Owl" Contender's Costume, 
"Santo's Sun" Contender's Costume, or 
"Night Demon" Contender's Costume. Chapman can be found in Dalaran during the Day of the Dead event.
Equip the Costume
Wear your chosen Contender's Costume, which has a 10-minute duration, a 1-minute cooldown, and does not vanish on death. Once worn, a new action button appears with one of three randomized abilities: Quick Punch (melee range, 10% max HP), Strong Sweep (4-yard cone, 20% max HP), or Jump Attack (7-yard leap, 30% max HP).
Defeat Another Contender
Both you and your target MUST be wearing one of the five Contender's Costumes — only the costume abilities deal damage between contenders, so coordinate with a partner who also has a costume equipped. Enter a raid instance such as Siege of Orgrimmar, where dying and releasing spawns you immediately at the resurrection point with no corpse run, allowing fast repeated kills; the person collecting the achievement should go last so the other can keep spawning and being defeated quickly.
