Arakkoa Archivist
Restore and display pristine versions of all Arakkoa artifacts.
Arakkoa Archivist requires you to restore and display pristine versions of all Arakkoa artifacts through Draenor Archaeology, and is one of three achievements that together award the Draenor Curator meta-achievement alongside Unite the Clans and Highmaul Historian.
Buy Crates from Dariness
The fastest method is to spend Restored Artifacts at Dariness the Learned in Dalaran to purchase Arakkoa artifact crates directly, bypassing the need to farm dig sites.
Farm Dig Sites in Draenor
If you lack Restored Artifacts, fly to Stormshield and purchase
Draenor Archaeologist's Maps and Draenor Archaeologist's Lodestones to speed up travel between dig sites across the map.
Limit Arakkoa Cipher Use
You can only use one
Arakkoa Cipher per common Arakkoa project, so avoid stockpiling or spending ciphers freely — this is a harder constraint than the equivalent keystones for Ogre archaeology projects, making each solve less efficient.
Account for Low Dig Site Rates
Arakkoa dig sites spawn at a relatively low rate compared to other Draenor archaeology types, so expect this achievement to take longer than Unite the Clans or Highmaul Historian — at a roughly 12.5% chance per solve to yield a pristine, completing all Arakkoa pristines from scratch can take well over 170 solves.
Tips
Use Restored Artifacts to buy crates from Dariness the Learned in Dalaran before resorting to dig site farming, as this is significantly faster.
Complete at least half of the Unite the Clans and Highmaul Historian achievements before spending your Draenor Archaeologist's Maps, since Arakkoa dig sites are the rarest of the three types.
