Collect 10 Blazing Rings in one flight session of Firebird's Challenge.

Flying High is a 10-point achievement earned by collecting 10 Blazing Rings in a single flight session of Firebird's Challenge at the Darkmoon Faire.

1

Find Ziggie Sparks

Head to the Darkmoon Faire island and find Ziggie Sparks at 64.42, 92.09 on the main strip, just next to the fireworks vendor. She is the NPC who starts the Firebird's Challenge minigame.

2

Begin Your Flight Session

Start the Firebird's Challenge with Ziggie Sparks. You will launch into a timed flight where you must collect Blazing Rings scattered across the sky. Every ring you collect restores some of your remaining flight time, so keep moving between rings to stay airborne.

3

Collect 10 Blazing Rings

Fly through at least 10 Blazing Rings without letting your flight power expire. Rings are spread across the sky in strings — verified ring locations include positions at 56.48, 85.83, 63.51, 77.55, 67.47, 81.08, 70.93, 79.84, 68.09, 76.75, 71.23, 73.56, 74.08, 70.42, 70.88, 65.85, and 66.40, 66.90, among others. Working in circles from the outside inward, or vice versa, is an effective approach. On dead-end strings of rings, skip every other ring on the way out so you can collect the skipped ones on your return trip and maintain your flight time.

Tips

  • Each ring collected restores flight time, so prioritize hitting rings along a continuous path rather than flying long stretches without collecting any.

  • As of a past Blizzard fix, each player has their own set of rings regardless of how many other players are in the sky at the same time, so other players will not steal your rings.
