Weed Whacker
Defeat Yalnu without any Kirin Tor Battle-Mages dying in The Everbloom on Heroic difficulty.
Weed Whacker is a 10-point achievement earned in The Everbloom on Heroic difficulty by defeating the final boss Yalnu without allowing any Kirin Tor Battle-Mages to die.
Enter The Everbloom
Set the instance to Heroic difficulty and clear through the dungeon, defeating Archmage Sol before reaching Yalnu, the final boss.
Position Yalnu Carefully
Tank Yalnu so that his Colossal Blow attack does not strike the Kirin Tor Battle-Mages who spawn to assist during the encounter.
Break Entanglement Immediately
When Yalnu casts Entanglement on a Kirin Tor Battle-Mage, break the roots immediately, as the Battle-Mages will not free themselves despite having the ability to do so.
Destroy Flowers Underground
Squash flowers while they are still underground to reduce incoming damage and prevent the encounter from escalating beyond what the Battle-Mages can survive.
Nuke Yalnu Fast
Burn Yalnu down as quickly as possible using your strongest attacks, since the longer the fight lasts, the more opportunities there are for a Battle-Mage to die.
Tips
This achievement is part of Glory of the Draenor Hero, so it can be completed while working toward that meta-achievement.
If you are on the quest Cenarion Concerns, use its objective ability to massively overheal your party and the Battle-Mages whenever they drop low.
