Divide and Conquer
Kill 5000 enemy players anywhere outside the Road of Glory within Ashran.
Divide and Conquer requires you to kill 5000 enemy players while your character is physically located outside the Road of Glory in Ashran.
Join an Ashran Raid
When you enter Ashran, join one of the raid groups forming at your faction's base. This gives you access to a large group of players generating kills throughout the zone.
Position Outside Road of Glory
Stand at a location off the main road — the Road of Glory. A reliable way to check if you are in the wrong area is whether the 'Horde Slain:' and 'Alliance Slain:' counters appear at the top of your screen; if they do, step away until they disappear. The water just below the Alliance keep is a confirmed working spot, as is the area around Korlok's location. Any position off the central road where you are still close enough to receive kill credit will count toward the achievement.
Accumulate 5000 Kill Credits
Remain at your off-road position while the raid engages enemies. Every enemy player kill that grants you an HK while you are standing outside the Road of Glory counts toward the 5000 total. Progress is retained through faction changes, so switching factions will not reset your count.
Tips
If the main raid is fighting on the central road, positioning yourself just off to the side — barely outside the Road of Glory boundary — still grants credit for kills happening on the road itself, which significantly speeds up progress.
Averaging around 200 qualifying kills per Ashran battle is achievable from a fixed off-road position, putting completion within roughly 25 battles.
