Master Defender
Earn a Gold rating in each max-level invasion.
Master Defender requires earning a Gold rating in each of the six max-level Garrison invasion types: Ogre, Shadow Council, Shadowmoon, Botani, Goren, and Iron Horde.
Trigger Each Invasion Type
Kill level 100 mobs in the areas designated for Apexis Crystal Quests to chance triggering an invasion against your Garrison; there are six invasion types to complete — Ogre, Shadow Council, Shadowmoon, Botani, Goren, and Iron Horde.
Reach 1000 Points for Gold
Score at least 1000 points during an invasion to earn Gold, which rewards the 
Invader's Forgotten Treasure; Bronze requires 300 points, Silver requires 600 points, and Platinum requires 1300 points.
Use Bodyguards and Followers
If your Garrison has a Barracks, bring a Bodyguard to increase damage output, and assign your strongest Follower on Patrol to help clear enemies more efficiently during the invasion.
Handle Iron Horde Carefully
Iron Horde invasions spawn fewer mobs than other types, and some enemies disengage on walls or in trees; fly directly to disengaged enemies to pull them into combat and accumulate points toward your Gold rating.
Track Weekly Reward Status
Use the in-game macro /run for k, v in pairs({Silver=37639,Bronze=37638,Gold=37640,Platinum=38482}) do print(format("%s: %s",k, IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(v) and "124cFFFF0000Looted124r" or "124cFF00FF00Not Looted Yet124r")) end to check whether you have already collected your Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum reward for the current week.
Tips
At level 120, Garrison NPCs such as guards and Sergeant Crowler are scaled to level 120 and will nearly one-shot most invasion mobs, while mini-bosses take around 3–5 hits from those NPCs — use this to your advantage to rack up points quickly.
Invasions are on a weekly lockout per reward tier; if the macro shows Gold as already looted, you must wait until the weekly reset to earn another Gold reward from that invasion type.
