Defeat Sadana Bloodfury while only having the runes that correspond to her active lunar cycle lit in Shadowmoon Burial Grounds on Heroic difficulty.
What's Your Sign? is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Sadana Bloodfury in Shadowmoon Burial Grounds on Heroic difficulty while only the runes matching her active lunar cycle remain lit when she dies.
Enter on Heroic Difficulty
Set Shadowmoon Burial Grounds to Heroic difficulty and enter the instance solo. Dismiss any pet before engaging Sadana Bloodfury to avoid unintended rune interactions.
Damage Boss, Trigger Eclipse
Damage Sadana Bloodfury down to around 10–35% health, then wait for her to cast Dark Eclipse. When she does, stand on one of the white moon runes in the inner ring on the ground to absorb the buff.
Identify the White Rune Type
While standing in the inner ring during Dark Eclipse, observe which of the three rune types on the outer perimeter lights up white — all 8 matching runes will be the same symbol (ear, bat, or reaper), spaced two runes apart from each other across the 24 total outer runes.
Run Over All Purple Runes
After the white runes turn back to purple, run over every rune that did NOT light up white — these are the 16 purple runes sitting two-per-gap between each white rune. Do not step on any of the 8 runes that were white during Dark Eclipse. A Paladin's Divine Shield can help survive any damage taken during this phase.
Kill the Boss
Once only the 8 same-type runes remain on the floor, kill Sadana Bloodfury to complete the achievement. The floor should display 8 evenly spaced runes of a single symbol type when she dies.
Tips
This achievement is part of Glory of the Draenor Hero, so completing it also contributes progress toward that meta-achievement.
