Explore the regions of Draenor.

Draenor Explorer requires you to explore all designated regions across the zones of Draenor, and completing it also counts toward the Draenor Pathfinder meta-achievement that unlocks flying in Draenor.

1

Explore Western Frostfire Ridge

Travel through the western areas of Frostfire Ridge, uncovering Wor'gol at 23.4, 54.1 and at 24.8, 60.1, Bladespire Citadel at 21.2, 42.2 and at 30, 41, Frostwind Crag at 28.3, 21.6 and at 31.2, 23.5, and Daggermaw Ravine at 36, 21.9.

2

Explore Northern Frostfire Ridge

Continue north to discover Bloodmaul Stronghold at 41.7, 19.8, then sweep south and east to find The Boneslag at 42.7, 48.4 and at 48.7, 46.8, Stonefang Outpost at 46.4, 52.2 and at 46.5, 52.2, and Daggermaw Ravine at 44.6, 31.2.

3

Explore Central and Eastern Frostfire Ridge

Move through the central and eastern portions of the zone, hitting The Cracking Plains at 52.2, 45.5 and at 54.4, 42.4, Colossal's Fall at 58.3, 31.4 and at 59.1, 23.2, Grimfrost Hill at 65.7, 46.9, Grom'gar at 62.6, 57.3, and Magnarok at 67.8, 32.3.

4

Explore Far Eastern Frostfire Ridge

Finish Frostfire Ridge by reaching the far eastern locations: Iron Waystation at 74.6, 62.7, Iron Siegeworks at 82, 57.4, and Bones of Agurak at 82.9, 61.

5

Explore Remaining Draenor Zones

Repeat the exploration process across the other regions of Draenor; note that progress for each zone can be completed on different characters and will count toward the overall achievement, so you do not need to explore every zone on a single character.

6

Complete Draenor Pathfinder Meta

Once Draenor Explorer is complete, it contributes to the Draenor Pathfinder meta-achievement alongside Master Treasure Hunter, Loremaster of Draenor, Securing Draenor, and Tanaan Diplomat — finishing Draenor Pathfinder on any one character unlocks flying in Draenor for all characters level 90 and above on your account, and awards the Soaring Skyterror mount.

Tips

  • Zone exploration progress is account-wide across characters, but you must fully complete each individual zone on a single character — you cannot split progress within the same zone across multiple characters.

  • All verified waypoints in this guide were confirmed reachable using only a ground mount, so flying is not required to complete the exploration.
