Putting the Gore in Gorgrond
Complete the Gorgrond storylines listed below.
Putting the Gore in Gorgrond is a 10-point achievement earned by completing the Gorgrond storylines, and rewards the Treasure Map: Gorgrond upon completion.
Choose Your Outpost
When you reach the 'We Need An Outpost' quest, choose between the Lumber Yard and the Sparring Arena. The Lumber Yard grants Summon Mechashredder 5000, which provides a form of travel in Gorgrond and Tanaan Jungle, while the Sparring Arena grants Champion's Honor, which summons a champion to fight alongside you for 1 minute.
Complete the Opening Quests
Work through the opening quest chain in order: The Secrets of Gorgrond, Welcome to Gorgrond, A Harvester Has Come, Wake of the Genesaur, and I Drew Aggro...culture, then complete Rescue Rangari and Lost Mole Machines before turning in We Need An Outpost.
Start In the Land of Giants
After completing the outpost setup, begin the In the Land of Giants chain. Pick up A Heavy Helping Hand from a cookie quest far south at 47.6, 94.2, then speak to the NPC inside the ruins to receive Down the Goren Hole and Just In Case.
Descend the Goren Hole
Head to the bottom of the Goren Hole to collect the required item; your NPC companion will join you once you pick it up. Note that there is a gold bag located at 43.4, 92.4, above the pulley system apparatus, which you should loot while in the area.
Complete Chains of Iron
Progress through the Chains of Iron storyline, which runs alongside the In the Land of Giants chain. If any quests at Highpass appear unavailable, ensure the Supporting Your Garrison and Iron Approach portions of the achievement are both completed, as missing either will block further quest pickups.
Tips
If you plan to complete both outpost quest chains, start with the Lumber Yard first, then switch to the Sparring Arena later once you have flying in Draenor, since you will only need to switch outposts once.
