The Crashin' Thrashin' Flyer achievement is earned by obtaining the 
Crashin' Thrashin' Flyer Controller from the 
Winter Veil Gift found under the tree in Ironforge or Orgrimmar, available starting December 25, 2013.
Wait for December 25
The Winter Veil Gift becomes lootable on December 25, 2013. Opening it on or after this date is required to receive the Crashin' Thrashin' Flyer Controller and trigger the achievement.
Open the Winter Veil Gift
Loot the Winter Veil Gift from under the tree to receive the Crashin' Thrashin' Flyer Controller, which grants the achievement upon obtaining it.
Use the Flyer Controller
When flying your flyer, be aware that you will be briefly stunned either if another player shoots down your flyer or if your flyer travels too far from your character — the distance stun is not caused by another player and is a separate mechanic.
