Complete the Battle on the High Seas Scenario without any member of your party getting hit by cannon fire at any point.

Keep those Bombs Away! (From Me) is a 10-point achievement earned by completing the Battle on the High Seas scenario without any party member being struck by cannon fire.

1

Watch for Red Circles

As soon as you step onto any boat deck, cannon fire begins dropping as large red circles on the ground. Any time you are on a boat deck throughout the scenario, cannon fire will be present, so move out of every red circle immediately.

2

Ignore Goblin Boss Bombs

Goblin bosses throw bombs with different graphics than cannon fire — these do not count toward the achievement, so you do not need to treat them as cannon fire for the purposes of this challenge.

3

Kill Lieutenant Before Jumping

When transitioning to the second ship, cannon fire begins as soon as you are able to use the cannon to jump over. Kill the lieutenant near the cannon first, then jump immediately to avoid landing on a targeted spot with no time to move.

4

Use the Purple Bowl

On the lower deck of the first Horde boat, directly under the stairs, there is a purple bowl that one party member can eat. This applies a 5-minute debuff that causes all cannons in the scenario to target only that player, making it far easier for the rest of the group to avoid cannon fire. The debuff can be refreshed by eating the bowl again, and the player with the debuff should focus entirely on moving during the final boss fight rather than attacking.

5

Pets Won't Fail Achievement

Summoned pets will not cause you to fail this achievement, so you can leave your pet active without worrying about where it is standing during cannon fire.

Tips

  • See the video guide for a visual walkthrough of cannon fire patterns throughout the scenario.

  • If you are in a group that cannot avoid cannon fire, bailing out during the last boss fight — while you personally have not been hit — will still award the achievement when the group finishes the kill.
