Farm Mantid Digsites for Pristines
Solve Mantid artifacts repeatedly across the Dread Wastes and Townlong Steppes digsites; pristine versions drop at approximately an 11% rate per solve, meaning you can expect to complete the achievement in around 196 total solves on average, though outliers reaching 600+ solves have been reported.
Use Forager's Gloves While Digging
Forager's Gloves are strongly recommended during the farming process to reduce the number of fragments required per solve and lower overall digsite time.
Watch for Ancient Sap Feeder and Kypari Sap Container
Ancient Sap Feeder and Kypari Sap Container have been noted as particularly stubborn pristines, with individual players requiring 30 and 88 solves of those specific artifacts respectively before receiving the pristine version — continue solving them even when they repeat.
Tips
The pristine drop rate is approximately 11% per solve, so on average 72 additional solves are needed once you are missing only a single pristine, with a 95% chance of completion within 214 solves and 99% within 329 solves of that final artifact.
Mantid Amber Sliver has a known elevated drop rate bug that causes it to appear more frequently than other Mantid artifacts.
