Platform Hero
Survive for 90 seconds on the pillars in the Swollen Vault.
Platform Hero is a 10-point achievement earned by surviving for 90 seconds on the pillars inside the Swollen Vault.
Enter the Swollen Vault
Head to the Swollen Vault entrance at 62.3, 40.2, accessible through the doorway at 58, 42 that leads from Stormsea Landing. Inside you will find a 5x5 grid of pillars, most of which are covered in purple lightning that deals substantial damage.
Identify Safe Pillars
A small number of pillars are free of lightning at any given time and rotate through the grid in a pattern — the safe pillars move in a snake-like sequence, with either 2 or 3 open pillars available at once. The sequence appears to change daily.
Jump and Stay on Platform
Wait for a safe pillar to appear near you, then jump onto it — either scoot to the far bottom-left corner of the platform where the pulsating lightning will not reach you and remain there for the full 90 seconds, or hop to each new safe pillar as the sequence moves. The achievement pops once you have survived 90 seconds.
Recover if You Fall Off
If you fall, you will land on the floor below at 70.53, 84.34 where several statues are located — move away from any statue immediately to avoid their crush animation, then use the stairs near the entrance to return to the pillar area and try again.
