Reveal the Orange, Purple, and Green Fog Beasts while facing Durumu the Forgotten in Throne of Thunder on Normal or Heroic Difficulty.
You Said Crossing the Streams Was Bad is a 10-point achievement earned by revealing the Orange, Purple, and Green Fog Beasts during the Durumu the Forgotten encounter in Throne of Thunder on Normal or Heroic difficulty.
Enter Throne of Thunder
Enter Throne of Thunder on Normal difficulty and engage Durumu the Forgotten. Normal difficulty is recommended over Heroic to avoid additional mechanics.
Survive the Death Beam
Approximately 40 seconds into the fight, Durumu begins a beam phase. A spinning death beam circles the room and will instantly kill you if it connects, so keep moving to stay ahead of it.
Spot the White Cloud
When the beam phase begins, a single white cloud will briefly appear on the platform among several red and blue clouds — this white cloud marks the location of the hidden Fog Beast for that phase.
Cross Correct Beam Pairs
Walk to the white cloud's location and cross the correct pair of beams over it: cross the Red beam and Yellow beam to reveal the Orange Fog Beast, cross the Red beam and Blue beam to reveal the Purple Fog Beast, and cross the Blue beam and Yellow beam to reveal the Green Fog Beast.
Repeat Across Three Phases
Only one Fog Beast can be revealed per beam phase, and Durumu cycles through three phases total, so you must survive all three beam phases and reveal one Fog Beast in each to complete the achievement. You do not need to kill Durumu to earn the achievement.
Tips
If you missed which colored beast is hidden in a given phase, crossing all three beams simultaneously over the white cloud location will ensure the correct color is revealed regardless.
The white cloud disappears quickly, so move to its position as soon as the full beams activate rather than waiting.
