Lightning Overload
Cause two Focused Lightning Orbs to collide while fighting Jin'rokh the Breaker in Throne of Thunder on Normal or Heroic difficulty.
Lightning Overload requires causing two Focused Lightning Orbs to collide while fighting Jin'rokh the Breaker in Throne of Thunder on Normal or Heroic difficulty, and is part of the Glory of the Thundering Raider meta-achievement.
Enter Throne of Thunder
Travel to the Throne of Thunder raid and engage Jin'rokh the Breaker, the first boss in the instance. The achievement can be completed solo at max level.
Position Jin'rokh Against a Wall
Pull Jin'rokh as close as possible to any wall — the southeast corner near the door to the next area works well. With the boss pressed tightly against the wall, the Focused Lightning Orbs he spawns will become stuck in place rather than moving freely around the room.
Wait for Two Orbs to Collide
Once the orbs are stuck against the wall, wait for Jin'rokh to spawn a second orb on top of the first — when the two orbs overlap and collide, the achievement triggers immediately. You do not need to defeat Jin'rokh after the orbs collide.
Tips
If the player targeted by an orb dies shortly after the orb spawns, the orb remains at its spawn point; when the next orb spawns they will collide, triggering the achievement without any wall positioning needed.
