Survive the Iron Qon fight in Throne of Thunder on Normal or Heroic difficulty without getting hit by any of the following abilities:
Can't Touch This requires you to survive the Iron Qon fight in Throne of Thunder on Normal or Heroic difficulty without being hit by Burning Cinders, Storm Cloud, Rushing Winds, or Frozen Blood from the phase spears, or Frozen Solid from frozen cyclones in the final phase.
Enter Throne of Thunder
Enter Throne of Thunder and reach Iron Qon. At max level you can solo the entire raid to reach this boss.
Avoid Fire Lines Phase One
In the first phase, do not touch the fire lines coming from Iron Qon's spear, as contact applies Burning Cinders. This is the hardest criterion to avoid — if fire lines separate your position from others, crossing over them will fail the achievement.
Dodge Lightning and Tornadoes Phase Two
In the second phase, avoid the lightning lines from the spear, which apply Storm Cloud, and dodge the Rushing Winds tornadoes. The tornadoes behave similarly to those in the Blade-Lord Tayak fight. A Warlock Gateway can help reposition quickly through tornado patterns.
Avoid Ice Lines Phase Three
In the third phase, do not touch the ice lines from the spear, as contact applies Frozen Blood, a damage-over-time effect that also slows movement.
Avoid Frozen Cyclones Final Phase
In the final combined phase, stay clear of frozen cyclones to avoid being hit by Frozen Solid. This stun is easy to avoid as long as the boss is not being tanked in a poor position near the cyclones.
Tips
If soloing, burning Iron Qon down quickly in each phase before he uses his spear abilities can allow you to skip most of the dangerous mechanics entirely.
