A Test of Valor
Start Wrathion's legendary "Test of Valor" quest and earn 3000 Valor Points.
A Test of Valor requires you to accept Wrathion's legendary quest and then earn 3000 Valor Points after accepting it.
Track the Achievement
Use the macro /run AddTrackedAchievement(8030) if you are Alliance, or /run AddTrackedAchievement(8031) if you are Horde, to add the achievement to your tracker without hunting through the achievement list.
Accept the Quest
Pick up Wrathion's Test of Valor quest at 54.4, 72.6 in The Veiled Stair before earning any Valor Points — no Valor earned before accepting the quest counts toward the 3000 required.
Earn 3000 Valor Points
Earn 3000 Valor Points after accepting the quest; if you hit the 3000 Valor cap without spending points, any additional Valor earned will not count toward the quest, so spend down your points before capping to avoid losing progress.
Optimize with Weekly Resets
To complete this in as few as 8 days, avoid earning any Valor during the week before you accept the quest, accept it on Monday and earn your full weekly 1000 Valor that same day, earn another 1000 Valor over the following week, then earn the final 1000 Valor on Tuesday after the weekly reset.
Tips
Valor point tracking does not reset when you faction change or realm transfer — if your achievement tracker shows 0/6000 after a transfer, that is a cosmetic bug only and your real progress is preserved.
