Watery Grave
Kill 3 of the Darkhatched Lizard-Lord's reinforcements using his Water Jets ability in the Dagger in the Dark Scenario.
Watery Grave requires you to kill 3 of the Darkhatched Lizard-Lord's reinforcements using his Water Jets ability in the Dagger in the Dark Scenario, and the achievement only awards after the boss himself is dead.
Reach the First Encounter
This achievement takes place at the very first encounter in the Dagger in the Dark Scenario — not the first boss inside the cave, but the encounter that happens before you board the boat.
Manage the Reinforcements
The Darkhatched Lizard-Lord spawns 3 adds at the start of the fight. Bring all 3 adds to low health but do not kill them, as killing them causes more to spawn and you will need to repeat the process.
Trigger the Water Jets
If the Darkhatched Lizard-Lord is not casting Water Jets, drag the adds into one of Vol'jin's traps — this has been shown to prompt the boss to cast the ability immediately. The Water Jets appear as a cone on the ground and deal roughly 45% of an add's health.
Position Adds in the Cone
Once the Water Jets cone appears on the ground, move the low-health adds into it so they die from the spell. Repeat until 3 adds have been killed this way.
Kill the Boss Last
After 3 reinforcements have been killed by Water Jets, kill the Darkhatched Lizard-Lord — the achievement does not pop until the boss is dead.
