Golden Carp is the most common fish and can be caught from any river or lake in Pandaria, so pick it up while farming other fish.

Jade Lungfish pools appear in the rivers and lakes of The Jade Forest and can also be caught in open water. Redbelly Mandarin pools are found in The Jade Forest and in the river between The Jade Forest and Valley of the Four Winds.

Reef Octopus pools are located among the islands off the east coast of The Jade Forest. Giant Mantis Shrimp pools are found along the east and south coasts of The Jade Forest.

Both Emperor Salmon and Krasarang Paddlefish pools can be found along the river between Valley of the Four Winds and Krasarang Wilds.

Tiger Gourami pools are found in Kun-Lai Summit. Flying Tiger Gourami, a semi-rare variant, can be caught in inland water where Spinefish are not present, such as the Torjani Pools in Valley of the Four Winds.

Mimic Octopus is a semi-rare fish caught in ocean water. A reliable spot is near Nat Pagle's location — fish behind the Jinyu daily quest giver on the small nearby isle.

Spinefish Alpha is a semi-rare fish caught anywhere that Spinefish are found, which is inland water in Sha-touched areas such as Kun-Lai Summit. Star Lake in Dread Wastes is another known fishing location for Spinefish.

Jewel Danio pools are now found in the lakes of the Timeless Isle, as they were relocated there after the Vale of Eternal Blossoms had its waters drained.

If you prefer not to fish for every fish individually, you can purchase a bag of the needed fish from the cooking vendor Nam Ironpaw at Halfhill, which also counts toward the achievement.
