Taming Cataclysm
Defeat all of the Pet Tamers in Cataclysm listed below.
Taming Cataclysm is a 5-point achievement earned by defeating all four Pet Tamers across the Cataclysm zones, which unlocks the Cataclysm Pet Battle Daily Quests.
Complete Taming Northrend First
Before the Cataclysm tamers become available, you must have completed Taming Northrend. Pick up the quest chain from Audrey Burnhep if you are Alliance, or Varzok if you are Horde.
Defeat Brok in Mount Hyjal
Travel to Mount Hyjal and find Brok at 61.4, 32.8. His team order is: Kali (Magic, weak to Dragonkin), Ashtail (Beast, weak to Mechanical), then Incinderous (Critter, weak to Beast). All pets are level 25. Use the Cataclysm portal in Stormwind or Orgrimmar to reach Hyjal quickly.
Defeat Bordin Steadyfist in Deepholm
Head to Deepholm and find Bordin Steadyfist at 49.8, 57. His team consists of Ruby (Elemental, weak to Aquatic), Crystallus (Critter, weak to Beast), and Fracture (Elemental, weak to Aquatic). All pets are level 25.
Defeat Goz Banefury in Twilight Highlands
Travel to Twilight Highlands and find Goz Banefury at 56.6, 56.8. His team includes Amythel (Magic, weak to Dragonkin), Helios (Beast, weak to Mechanical), and Twilight (Elemental, weak to Aquatic). All pets are level 25.
Defeat Obalis in Uldum
Travel to Uldum and find Obalis at 56.6, 41.8. His team consists of Clatter (Critter), Spring (Flying), and Pyth (Beast). Defeating Obalis completes the Battle Pet Tamers: Cataclysm follow-up quest and earns you the Taming Cataclysm achievement.
Tips
Use the Cataclysm portals in Stormwind (Alliance) or Orgrimmar (Horde) to travel between zones faster when visiting each tamer.
Each tamer's pets always appear in the same order, so you can set up a counter team in advance: Dragonkin counters Magic, Mechanical counters Beast, and Aquatic counters Elemental.
