One Step at a Time
Complete The Crumbling Hall and The Thunder Below without taking damage from any source.
One Step at a Time is a 10-point achievement earned by completing The Crumbling Hall and The Thunder Below without taking damage from any source.
Pick Up The Quest
Pick up The Crumbling Hall quest and enter through the left doorway in Guo-Lai Halls. You must reach the end without taking damage from falling boulders (indicated by dark shadows on the ground) or Mogu statues that patrol and attack along your path.
Avoid Boulders and Statues
Watch for dark shadows on the ground that signal incoming boulders and move away before they land, as they deal AoE splash damage on impact. Mogu statues use melee attacks and a ground-trembling cleave, so use a pet to tank them if available — pet damage taken does NOT fail the achievement.
Kill Milau and Hearth Out
After killing Milau, immediately hearth out rather than running back through the hall, as hearthstone use does not break the achievement and eliminates the risk of taking damage on the way out.
Return Carefully to Quest Giver
Make your way back to the quest giver with caution, as falling damage and environmental hazards such as stepping on fire still count against you and will fail the achievement before turn-in.
Tips
If completing this with a friend, have them share the quest with you once they are near the end, complete it, then hearth out to avoid unnecessary damage exposure.
Hearthstoning out after killing Milau is confirmed to not break the achievement, making it the safest exit strategy.
