Collateral Damage
Use a Mogu Statue's Crushing Slam to kill another opponent.
Collateral Damage requires you to kill an enemy using the Crushing Slam ability from a Mogu Statue, earned by luring a Mogu Statue to slam a weakened, tagged mob to death.
Travel to Guo-Lai Halls
Head to Guo-Lai Halls in the north-west of Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Mogu Statues are found throughout the area, but the most reliable spot is at the bottom of Guo-Lai Halls, in the area just before the elite serpent, where four small Mogu Statue spawn points are clustered together.
Tag a Nearby Mob
Pull one of the Mogu Statues by entering combat and walking toward it on foot — do not fly directly to it or it will not engage. While the statue is on you, tag a nearby mob using a non-damaging ability to ensure you receive credit; if you do not hit the mob with at least one ability, a kill by the statue will not count toward the achievement.
Wait for Crushing Slam
Let the Mogu Statue use its Crushing Slam ability to kill the tagged mob — the mob must die specifically to Crushing Slam, not to the statue's other ability, Crushing Stomp, which will not trigger the achievement. Using the
Soft Foam Sword to keep the mob alive at low health helps ensure it dies to Crushing Slam rather than another ability.
Tips
Dismiss any active pet before attempting this, as pets can accidentally kill the mob before the statue gets its Crushing Slam off.
Jade Warriors in the lower levels of Guo-Lai Halls also have Crushing Slam and can be used as an alternative to Mogu Statues if statues prove difficult to work with.
