Roll Club
Complete the Serpent Spine roll course in 70 seconds or less.
Roll Club is a 10-point achievement earned by completing the Serpent's Spine roll course in 70 seconds or less, tied to the daily quest Roll Club: Serpent's Spine offered at the Gate of the Setting Sun hub.
Unlock the Daily Quest
You must be Revered with Golden Lotus and have completed the non-daily quests that unlock at Revered, which involve collecting the Thunder King's items. The Roll Club: Serpent's Spine daily is only available when the server's random daily hub selection includes Gate of the Setting Sun as one of the active hubs.
Find the Roll Course NPC
The NPC who offers the roll course is located on the west side of the Gate of the Setting Sun garrison. No one sends you to him directly, so head there manually when the daily is active.
Collect Speed Boosts Consistently
Speed boosts stack throughout the course, so collect as many as possible early on. Aim for roughly 12 to 15 stacks — going beyond that makes maneuvering harder and can cause the game client to fail to load upcoming oil slicks before you reach them.
Avoid Oil Slicks and Barriers
Oil slicks slow you down and barriers can stop your momentum entirely. You do not need a perfect run — missing one or two speed boosts and hitting a couple of oil slicks is still compatible with finishing in time, but minimize them where possible.
Use Jumping on Straight Segments
Once you reach 10 to 12 stacks, well-timed jumps on straight sections of the wall can save seconds and help you clear oil patches entirely. Avoid jumping near the curved sections toward the end of the course, as at high stack counts a mistimed jump will send you off the wall or trigger a teleport back to the quest giver.
Account for the Timer Offset
The 70-second timer starts before rolling actually begins, giving you closer to 65 usable seconds of race time. If the course geometry does not load correctly at the start, abandon and restart the quest — a loading failure near the first gate can cost 40 or more seconds before the course spawns in properly.
Tips
The daily quest is only available when Gate of the Setting Sun is one of the randomly selected hubs for that day, so check whether that hub is active before traveling there.
Failing and restarting the quest to learn the course layout is a valid strategy since there is no penalty for abandoning and retrying on the same day the quest is offered.
