A Taste of History
Find a Guo-Lai Vault Key and open an Ancient Guo-Lai Cache.
A Taste of History requires you to find a 
Ancient Guo-Lai Cache Key dropped from Mogu mobs and use it to open an Ancient Guo-Lai Cache inside the Guo-Lai Halls in the northwest Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
Farm the Cache Key
Kill Mogu mobs while questing in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms to obtain an Ancient Guo-Lai Cache Key. The key is obtainable even while Neutral with the Golden Lotus.
Navigate the Vault Tiles
Enter the Guo-Lai Halls in the northwest Vale of Eternal Blossoms. In the first room at the bottom of the stairs there is a single tile — all tiles matching that tile's color throughout the Guo-Lai Vault are the safe tiles for that day, changing on a daily basis.
Locate an Ancient Guo-Lai Cache
There are several cache spawn points inside the Guo-Lai Halls, but only 2-3 are accessible at any time regardless of reputation; additional spawn points become reachable as you progress with the Golden Lotus. If no cache is present, another player may have recently opened one, as the respawn timer is unknown.
Open the Cache Promptly
Use your Ancient Guo-Lai Cache Key to open the Ancient Guo-Lai Cache with auto-loot disabled, and loot all items — including 
Relic of Guo-Lai — before the cache disappears, as it will close on a timer and any remaining items will be lost.
Tips
Disable any loot-modifying addons before opening the cache, as they can cause the cache to close prematurely after picking up the first item.
