Sunwell Plateau
Defeat Kil'jaeden in Sunwell Plateau.
The 'Sunwell Plateau' achievement is earned by defeating Kil'jaeden inside the Sunwell Plateau raid.
Clear to Kalecgos
Enter Sunwell Plateau and defeat Kalecgos. Wait until the demon is dead before killing the dragon, as killing the dragon too early can result in a banished dragon with no portals available.
Defeat Brutallus
Brutallus can be tanked by a single tank. Move away from other players if you receive the Burn debuff to keep the fight clean.
Defeat Felmyst
During the Felmyst encounter, Mass Dispel is still required. Stack your group on one side of the boss so a single priest can cover everyone with Mass Dispel. Encapsulate damage is healable even when it hits the full group.
Clear Eredar Twins
Defeat the Eredar Twins to continue progressing through Sunwell Plateau. This encounter has caused repeated wipes when players do not follow positioning requirements, so stay aware of the mechanics.
Defeat M'uru
Defeat M'uru to open the path to Kil'jaeden. Note that completing this fight applies an Exhaustion effect, preventing the use of Heroism or Time Warp on Kil'jaeden.
Defeat Kil'jaeden
Engage Kil'jaeden and use the shield provided by the dragon to reduce damage from Darkness of a Thousand Souls, which deals between 47,500 and 52,000 shadow damage to everyone in the instance. The shield reduces damage taken by 95%, making the ability survivable. His adds will spawn during the fight and should be picked up and controlled while the raid continues dealing damage to Kil'jaeden.
