Magtheridon's Lair
Defeat Magtheridon in Magtheridon's Lair.
Defeat Magtheridon in Magtheridon's Lair, a level 70 single-boss raid located on the western side of Hellfire Citadel in Hellfire Peninsula, Outland, to earn this 10-point achievement.
Travel to Hellfire Citadel
Head to the western side of Hellfire Citadel in Hellfire Peninsula, Outland, and enter Magtheridon's Lair.
Clear Perimeter Mobs
Before engaging Magtheridon, clear all mob packs around the perimeter of the lair. They spawn in sets of three — both stationary and roving — and any you miss will be pulled into the central area when the Magtheridon fight begins.
Defeat the Channelers
Inside the circular lair, several channeling mobs are spread around Magtheridon. Aggroing one causes all of them to engage you at once. They cast Dark Mending, a 60,000+ heal that can be used on other channelers, so silence them and focus them down one at a time.
Defeat Magtheridon
With the channelers down, engage Magtheridon directly. He has approximately 3.4 million HP, and his Blast Wave ability can be used to destroy Abyssal adds if they cause trouble. Burn him down to complete the fight and earn the achievement.
