Complete the Shado-Pan Monastery Challenge Mode with a rating of Gold.
Shado-Pan Monastery: Gold requires completing the Shado-Pan Monastery Challenge Mode by killing all 4 bosses, purifying 4 Slain Shado-Pan Defenders, and defeating at least 32 counted mobs in under 21 minutes.
Meet the Gold Requirements
To earn Gold, you must kill all 4 bosses, purify 4 Slain Shado-Pan Defenders, and kill at least 32 mobs within 21 minutes. Note that mobs surrounding the Slain Shado-Pan Defenders do not count toward your enemy kill total, so account for this when planning your route.
Chain-Pull Trash to Gu Cloudstrike
A solitary Shado-Pan Warden mob summons 5-6 Ambushers — pick them all up immediately. Gold timing demands calculated chain-pulling rather than cautious clearing, so use stuns aggressively and avoid unnecessary stops between pulls.
Minimize Wipes, Maximize Speed
Wipes and slow pulls are the primary obstacles to Gold; a group clearing at a relaxed pace with a few wipes can achieve Bronze with 3-4 minutes to spare, meaning Gold requires tighter execution from tank, healer, and all damage dealers throughout the entire run.
Tips
This achievement is required for the meta-achievement The Shado-Master, and all meta achievements including this one must be completed on the same character.
Completing this achievement rewards the teleport spell Path of the Shado-Pan, which is grouped in a fly-out spell alongside the other Mists of Pandaria Challenge Mode Gold teleports and occupies only one action bar slot.
