Enter Pandaria Immediately
Travel to Pandaria as soon as the expansion unlocks. Based on player experience, time already spent on other activities before entering Pandaria can still leave the cooking realm first available if no one else has claimed it.
Run to Halfhill Market
From the Jade Forest starting area, run to Halfhill Market in the Valley of the Four Winds to access cooking trainers and materials needed to level cooking to 600.
