Molten Core
Defeat Ragnaros.
The 'Molten Core' achievement awards 10 points for defeating Ragnaros inside the Molten Core raid.
Enter Molten Core
You can become attuned to Molten Core starting at level 55. Enter the raid and work your way through the instance to reach Ragnaros.
Avoid Core Hound Packs
Core Hound packs will resurrect unless all members of the pack are killed within 10 seconds of each other. If you lack strong AoE, bypass these packs entirely to avoid losing time.
Handle Baron Geddon Carefully
Baron Geddon will knock you into the air, dealing fall damage upon landing. Fight him from the hallway leading to his room to reduce this risk.
Defeat Ragnaros
After clearing through the instance, defeat Ragnaros to complete the achievement.
Tips
For retroactive credit, any Bind on Pickup loot from Molten Core must still be in your inventory or bank — deleted items will not count and cannot be restored.
