Defeat the Sha of Fear in Terrace of Endless Spring on Normal or Heroic difficulty without any raid members being feared by Dread Spray or Breath of Fear.
The Mind-Killer requires defeating the Sha of Fear in Terrace of Endless Spring on Normal or Heroic difficulty without any raid member being hit by Dread Spray or Breath of Fear.
Enter Terrace of Endless Spring
Enter Terrace of Endless Spring and fight your way to the Sha of Fear. At max level you can solo this encounter, bypassing the crossbowmen mechanics entirely by burning the boss down before feared abilities become relevant.
Avoid Dread Spray Zones
The crossbowmen each fire Dread Spray in a pattern of 16 shots, dividing the shrine into eight sections and hitting each section twice per cast. Each crossbowman follows his own consistent shot pattern that appears to begin in the same section every time, so positioning away from their known spray paths prevents any fear application.
Stay Inside the Light Wall
Remain within the light wall at all times during the fight. Players outside it are exposed to fear effects, so never step beyond its boundary while Dread Spray or Breath of Fear is active.
