Face Clutchers
Defeat Lei Shi while all members of the raid are afflicted by Parasitic Clutch in Terrace of Endless Spring on Normal or Heroic difficulty.
Face Clutchers requires defeating Lei Shi while every member of the raid is afflicted by Parasitic Clutch, applied by the Parasitoid Sha found in the water surrounding Lei Shi's platform in the Terrace of Endless Spring on Normal or Heroic difficulty.
Enter Terrace of Endless Spring
Enter the Terrace of Endless Spring and make your way to Lei Shi. This achievement does not require a full group and can be completed with fewer players.
Jump Into the Water
Before engaging or during the fight, jump into the water below Lei Shi's platform where the Parasitoid Sha are located — contact with them will apply Parasitic Clutch to you, which is required for the achievement.
Aggro the Parasitoid Sha
There are fewer than 10 Parasitoid Sha in the water, but they respawn after a short time. Hitting one with any attack causes it to run toward you and attach itself upon contact. Because the Parasitoid Sha have around 2 million HP (in 10-player) and can be damaged, have ranged players pick up parasites first, then allow melee players and tanks to grab theirs later in the fight.
Time It Around Hide Phase
The best time to coordinate everyone grabbing a Parasitoid Sha is during Lei Shi's Hide phase. Once all players are afflicted, arrange raid cooldowns for the Get Away! phase, as the incoming damage will be significantly higher than normal.
Defeat Lei Shi
With all raid members afflicted by Parasitic Clutch, defeat Lei Shi to complete the Face Clutchers achievement.
Tips
Do not mount up or use a mounted ability such as
Neural Silencer — wait, note that Neural Silencer prevents Parasitoid Sha from attaching to you, so remove it before attempting this achievement.
