Heroic: Opening of the Dark Portal is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Aeonus on Heroic difficulty in The Black Morass, located within the Caverns of Time.
Enter The Black Morass
Travel to the Caverns of Time and enter The Black Morass on Heroic difficulty. As of patch 4.2, no prior Caverns of Time instance is required to access it.
Handle Rift Keepers carefully
Rift Lords are straightforward to kill and can be used to recover between pulls. Rift Keepers are significantly more dangerous — mage-type Rift Keepers cast Pyroblast, which hits for around 5, 000 damage if not resisted, so prioritize them accordingly.
Defeat Aeonus
