Pandaren Angler
Catch 25,000 fish from Pandaria fishing pools.
Pandaren Angler requires catching 25,000 fish from Pandaria fishing pools, meaning only pool catches count toward progress.
Fish Pandaria Pools Only
Cast exclusively into fishing pools located across Pandaria zones such as The Jade Forest, Valley of the Four Winds, Krasarang Wilds, Dread Wastes, Kun-Lai Summit, Townlong Steppes, and Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Open water catches and Golden Carp, which has no pools, do not contribute to this achievement.
Avoid Timeless Isle Fishing
Fishing in the Timeless Isle pond does not count toward this achievement, even if the area appears as a daily fishing location or spawns the mini-boss, so skip it entirely.
Note Ancient Pandaren Fishing Charm
Using the
Ancient Pandaren Fishing Charm to catch 2 fish at once still only counts as 1 catch toward the 25,000 total, so the double-catch bonus does not accelerate achievement progress.
Prioritize High-Density Pool Zones
Valley of the Four Winds and Krasarang Wilds offer high concentrations of multiple pool fish types including Emperor Salmon, Flying Tiger Gourami, and Giant Mantis Shrimp, making them efficient zones to farm your pool catches. Fishing here simultaneously progresses That's A Lot of Bait and We're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat.
