Capture a battle pet in each of the Kalimdor zones listed below.

Kalimdor Tamer requires you to capture a battle pet in each of the designated Kalimdor zones to earn 5 achievement points.

1

Access Teldrassil as Horde

Horde players can reach Teldrassil by traveling to Stormwind Harbor and boarding The Bravery, which docks at the south shore of Teldrassil. Capture a Crested Owl there, as it is found only in that zone.

2

Travel to Azuremyst Isle

From Teldrassil, return to the docks in Rut'heran Village at 52, 90 and board Elune's Blessing to reach Azuremyst Isle. Note that flying is not available on Azuremyst Isle or Bloodmyst Isle.

3

Swim to Bloodmyst Isle

After capturing a pet on Azuremyst Isle, swim to Bloodmyst Isle — swimming between the two does not trigger Fatigue. Look for a Ravager Hatchling, which is found only on Bloodmyst Isle.

4

Handle Uldum and Silithus

For Uldum and Silithus, you must speak with Zidormi and select the option to travel to the past version of the zone before capturing a pet, as the achievement only tracks captures made in those past-timeline versions.

5

Watch for Starting Zone Overlap

Pets captured within sub-zones like Ammen Vale do not count toward their parent zone such as Azuremyst Isle, so travel into the main zone before capturing a pet intended to fulfill an achievement requirement.

Tips

  • If a zone does not register as completed after capturing a pet, log out and back in — reloading the UI does not trigger the update.
