Raise a pet of every family to level 10.

No Favorites requires you to raise one pet from each of the 10 pet families (Aquatic, Beast, Critter, Dragonkin, Elemental, Flying, Humanoid, Magical, Mechanical, and Undead) to level 10 through pet battles.

1

Understand What Counts

Only pets leveled through pet battles count toward this achievement. Capturing a wild pet at level 10 or higher does not grant credit, but capturing a level 9 or lower wild pet and then raising it to level 10 does count.

2

Find One Pet Per Family

You need exactly one pet from each of the 10 families to reach level 10: Aquatic, Beast, Critter, Dragonkin, Elemental, Flying, Humanoid, Magical, Mechanical, and Undead. Buying a caged level 9 pet from the Auction House or capturing a level 9 wild pet is the most efficient starting point for each family slot.

3

Powerlevel With High-Level Pets

If you already have level 25 pets, place your low-level pet first in a battle against a high-level opponent so it survives one round, then swap it out and finish the fight with your level 25 pets. Deliberately lose one high-level pet before the battle ends so it does not split the experience, giving your low-level pet a larger share. This method typically yields more than three levels in the first battle for a level 1 pet, and two levels per battle shortly after.

4

Level 25 Team First Strategy

If you want to pursue the follow-up achievement All Pets Allowed efficiently, level one or more pets to 25 before completing No Favorites. Progress toward All Pets Allowed is tracked in the background before No Favorites is earned, so no credit is lost.

Tips

  • Starting each family's pet at level 9 rather than level 1 minimizes the number of battles needed if you do not have high-level pets to powerlevel with.

  • Level 9 caged pets can be purchased from other players on the Auction House, giving you a near-instant head start for any family you are missing.
