Taming Northrend
Defeat all of the Pet Tamers in Northrend listed below.
Taming Northrend is a 5-point achievement earned by defeating all five Pet Tamers in Northrend, which unlocks Northrend Pet Battle Daily Quests.
Complete Taming Outland First
You must complete Taming Outland before gaining access to Northrend tamer quests. Pick up the Battle Pet Tamers: Northrend quest from Audrey Burnhep (Alliance) or Varzok (Horde) after completing the required prerequisite chain through Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms.
Defeat Beegle Blastfuse
Find Beegle Blastfuse at 28.6, 33.8 in Howling Fjord. He uses two Flying pets (Dinner and Gobbles) and one Aquatic pet (Warble), so bring Magic pets against the Flying pets and a Flying pet against Warble.
Defeat Nearly Headless Jacob
Find Nearly Headless Jacob at 50.2, 59 in Crystalsong Forest. He uses three Undead pets (Spooky Strangler, Stitch, and Mort), so bring Critter pets to counter all three.
Defeat Okrut Dragonwaste
Find Okrut Dragonwaste at 59, 77 in Dragonblight. He uses one Dragonkin pet (Drogar) and two Undead pets (Rot and Sleet), so bring a Humanoid pet for Drogar and Critter pets for Rot and Sleet.
Defeat Gutretch
Find Gutretch at 13.2, 66.8 in Zul'Drak. He uses two Beast pets (Cadavus and Fleshrender) and one Critter pet (Blight), so bring Mechanical pets against the Beasts and a Beast pet against Blight.
Defeat Major Payne
Find Major Payne at 77.4, 19.6 in Icecrown to complete the achievement. Recommended pet combinations include Lil' Bling and Muckbreath, or a Molten Corgi and Mechanical Axebeak.
Tips
Completing this achievement unlocks Northrend Pet Battle Daily Quests, which can be picked up from Audrey Burnhep or Varzok.
