Taming Kalimdor
Defeat all of the Pet Tamers in Kalimdor listed below.
Taming Kalimdor requires defeating all twelve Pet Tamers across Kalimdor, unlocking the Kalimdor Pet Battle Daily Quests upon completion.
Start the Tamer Quest Chain
The quest chain begins with Varzok. Accept the quest line through A Tamer's Homecoming to unlock the series of tamer quests across Kalimdor.
Defeat Zunta in Durotar
Find Zunta at 44, 28 in Durotar. His pets are level 2 Common: a Critter (Mumtar) best countered by a Beast, and a Beast (Spike) best countered by a Mechanical.
Defeat Dagra the Fierce
Find Dagra the Fierce at 58, 53 in Northern Barrens. Her pets are level 3 Common: two Beasts (Longneck and Ripper) countered by Mechanical, and a Critter (Springtail) countered by Beast.
Defeat Analynn in Ashenvale
Find Analynn at 20, 29 in Ashenvale. Her pets are level 5 Common: a Flying (Flutterby) countered by Magic, an Aquatic (Mister Pinch) countered by Flying, and a Critter (Oozer) countered by Beast.
Defeat Zonya in Stonetalon
Find Zonya the Sadist at 59, 71 in Stonetalon Mountains. Her pets are level 7 Common.
Defeat Merda in Desolace
Find Merda Stronghoof at 57, 45 in Desolace. Her pets are level 9.
Defeat Cassandra in Southern Barrens
Find Cassandra Kaboom at 39, 79 in the Barrens. Her pets are level 11 and she is an elite tamer, so bring stronger pets.
Defeat Traitor Gluk in Feralas
Find Traitor Gluk at 60, 50 in Feralas. His pets range from level 11 to 13.
Defeat Grazzle in Dustwallow
Find Grazzle the Great at 53, 74 in Dustwallow Marsh. His pets are level 14.
Defeat Kela in Thousand Needles
Find Kela Grimtotem at 32, 33 in Thousand Needles. Her pets are level 15.
Defeat Zoltan in Felwood
Find Zoltan at 40, 56 in Felwood. His pets are level 16.
Defeat Elena in Moonglade
Find Elena Flutterfly at 46, 60 in Moonglade. Her pets are level 17.
Defeat Grand Master Trixxy
Find Grand Master Trixxy at 65, 64 in Winterspring. Her pets are level 19 and she is an elite tamer. Defeating her completes the achievement and unlocks the Kalimdor Pet Battle Daily Quests.
Tips
If you want to earn the reward bag on an Alliance character, accept the quest on a Horde character, then log onto your Alliance character to defeat the tamer and turn in the quest.
