Catch every battle pet in Eastern Kingdoms.

Eastern Kingdoms Safari requires you to catch every battle pet found across the zones of Eastern Kingdoms.

1

Filter Your Pet Journal

Open your Pet Journal and set the filter to show only uncollected pets, then type in a zone name to see which pets you still need there. Click each pet and mouseover its icon above the 3D model to determine if it is unique to that zone, then hunt it down before moving to the next zone.

2

Catch the Adder

The Adder can be found in Northern Stranglethorn, the Blasted Lands, and the Burning Steppes, among other zones in Eastern Kingdoms.

3

Catch the Alpine Hare

The Alpine Hare is found in Dun Morogh, Loch Modan in the area of the South Gate, and Winterspring.

4

Catch the Ash Spiderling

The Ash Spiderling is found in Searing Gorge.

5

Catch the Ash Viper

The Ash Viper is found in the Burning Steppes.

6

Catch the Bat

The Bat is found in Eastern Plaguelands, northwest of The Undercroft.

7

Catch the Baby Ape

The Baby Ape is found on Jaguaro Island in the Cape of Stranglethorn, but it only spawns when it is actively raining on the island. Leave an alternate character on the island and log in periodically to check for rain rather than camping the location continuously.

8

Recapture Crimson Moth and Wharf Rat

If you caught the Crimson Moth or Wharf Rat before Patch 5.1, you will not have credit for them toward this achievement. Recapture both pets after Patch 5.1 to receive proper credit.

Tips

  • Pets shared across multiple continents count for each continent's Safari achievement simultaneously, so catching an Adder in Eastern Kingdoms also credits any other Safari achievement that requires it.
