One Steppe Forward, Two Steppes Back is a 10-point achievement earned by completing five specific storylines in the Townlong Steppes zone.
Complete Fire Camp Osul
Complete the Point of No Return quest chain at the Gao-Ran Battlefront. This chain includes quests such as A Delicate Balance, A Spear Through My Side, A Chain Through My Soul, The Torches, Golgoss, Arconiss, The Death of Me, Golgoss Hungers, Arconiss Thirsts, and Orbiss Fades. If you are missing credit for Fire Camp Osul, check Hatred's Vice to the east.
Complete Mistlurkers in the Sumprushes
Complete the Mists' Opportunity quest chain, which includes The Endless Swarm, Rummaging Through the Remains, Back on Their Feet, Unwelcome Intruders, Breach in the Defenses, The Restless Watch, and Returning from the Pass. If you cannot find the start of this chain, locate Orbiss halfway between Longying Outpost and the large tree near Dusklight Hollow on the map at 67.90, 67.79.

Complete the Sha of Hatred quest chain in Townlong Steppes to earn credit for The Sha of Hatred storyline.
Complete Tai Ho's Investigation
Complete the Terrible Truth quest chain in Townlong Steppes to earn credit for the Tai Ho's Investigation storyline. If no quest is available at the quest giver, confirm all four other storylines above are fully completed first, as this chain may require them as prerequisites.
