Defeat Gekkan and his Glintrok entourage in Mogu'shan Palace on Heroic difficulty within 5 minutes of being spotted by the Glintrok Scout.

Glintrok N' Roll is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Gekkan and his Glintrok entourage in Mogu'shan Palace on Heroic difficulty within 5 minutes of being detected by the Glintrok Scout.

1

Trigger the Glintrok Scout

After defeating the first boss, head down the stairs. At the bottom of the first staircase you will find a single mob called the Glintrok Scout — allow it to detect you, which starts the 5-minute timer. You must be spotted by it; passing without being noticed will not start the achievement.

2

Rush Past Trash Mobs

Do not engage all trash mobs on the way to Gekkan, as fighting every pack will cost too much time. Use movement abilities or crowd-control tools such as a Rogue's Shroud of Concealment, a lesser invisibility potion, or a Swiftness Potion to bypass mobs and reach Gekkan's arena faster.

3

Jump Down Into the Arena

Once you reach the room containing Gekkan's arena, jump down directly rather than running the long way around; this saves significant time and is the key movement trick for making the timer.

4

Kill Adds, Then Gekkan

Defeat Gekkan's four entourage mobs first — prioritizing the Shielder, then the Shanker, then the remaining two — as killing them causes Gekkan to take extra damage. Once all adds are dead, finish off Gekkan before the 5-minute timer expires.

Tips

  • An alternative method is to have your tank carry a Soulstone, then run past everything to Gekkan and wipe. The tank uses the Soulstone to self-resurrect and mass-rezzes the group, bypassing the trash entirely.

  • If using a Salyin Battle Banner to solo this, avoid attacking any mobs while running, as procs like Bloodworms can keep you in combat and prevent the banner from working correctly. The boss takes roughly 15–20 seconds to respawn after the banner is used, so do not burn major cooldowns immediately.

  • See the video guide for a visual walkthrough of the route and jump-down point.
