Cleaning Up
Defeat the Sha of Doubt in Temple of the Jade Serpent while under the effects of Purified Water.
Cleaning Up requires defeating the Sha of Doubt in Temple of the Jade Serpent while under the Purified Water buff, which is only available in Heroic mode and has a 5-minute timer that begins when Wise Mari is killed.
Run Heroic Mode Only
Enter Temple of the Jade Serpent on Heroic difficulty. The Purified Water buff does not apply in Normal mode, so the achievement cannot be completed there.
Kill Lorewalker Stonestep First
Defeat Lorewalker Stonestep first — he is located to the right as you enter the dungeon. Clear him before engaging Wise Mari.
Save Cooldowns for Wise Mari
Do not use DPS cooldowns on Wise Mari. Hold all offensive cooldowns so they are ready for the final stretch after he dies.
Start the 5-Minute Timer
Kill Wise Mari to receive the Purified Water buff. From this moment you have 5 minutes to defeat the Sha of Doubt, so begin moving immediately.
Route Through the Middle
After Wise Mari dies, head toward the entrance and cut through the middle of the dungeon — this path is slightly shorter and gives the tank a better route to pick up all three trash packs on the way to Liu Flameheart.
Assign AoE to One DPS
Assign one DPS to handle AoE on the trash packs while the remaining DPS single-target. Demonology Warlocks and Shadow Priests are particularly strong for the AoE role here.
Defeat Liu Flameheart, Then Sha of Doubt
Kill Liu Flameheart and then immediately push into the Sha of Doubt encounter. Use all remaining DPS cooldowns here to kill the Sha of Doubt before the 5-minute Purified Water buff expires.
Tips
This achievement is among the most demanding in the Glory of the Pandaria Hero meta — groups in fresh Heroic gear will find the 5-minute window extremely tight, so higher item level significantly improves success odds.
